The best laid plans

Yesterday I had a really busy day, with lots of things that I had wanted to get accomplished. I had three classes and two meetings to attend, a paper to write, a hundred pages of accounting to master, and a practice test to take. I got home around 7pm from the meetings to have a bite to eat and study at home a little bit. I got about a half hour into the studying, and woke up 3 hours later. I didn't even make it to bed, but somehow ended up on the couch where I woke up this morning just in time to get ready for class.

In class, of course, I was less than prepared, and I am less-than sufficiently prepared for class today. I find it frustrating that such a thing could have happened, as all the hard work that I put in this weekend effectively evaporated because my body just shut down for twelve hours. In class, my classmates hung me out to dry, and I looked like a complete fool in front of the class. I tried to redeem myself, but at that point, the consensus was "if you had bothered to do the work you would know this." At this point, I want to give the finger to everybody involved.
